The Whispered Word

These thoughts come from one of our members, author and forensic accountant, Hal Rosenthal:

“Mighty Pillars Crumble at the Whispered Word.” It’s one of Hal’s original quotes. The “pillars” represent the System and the “whispered word” is that which is put in writing and appropriately disseminated. Full potency is derivable through the “100th monkey” concept of nature identified on the Japanese island of Koshima.

Instead of getting sick by eating a fruit that falls from the trees, one monkey washed it in the ocean and consumed it with no ill effect. The next day the action was copied by a few more monkeys. The practice quickly expanded geometrically and when the 100th monkey adopted it, virtually overnight the entire monkey population on the island accepted the practice.

The System in force in America must undergo a transformation and be rebuilt from the ground up; preferably, in accordance with the true intent of the Constitution and in opposition to the appalling circumstances now existing both nationally and internationally. Mere change and continuation of the piecemeal approach will be insufficient to make a meaningful difference and may lead to disaster.

Words cannot express the extent of stupidity and mistakes being made by those in control. Truly, they “cannot see the forest for the trees.” They create what at best can be considered tactics, but without first discerning an appropriate broader and suitable strategy, and the directly related tactics best to be relied upon to achieve the strategic goal.

The United States is in the process of selecting a new president on the basis that a single individual has the best ideas on how to make sought-for changes. How ridiculous.

And the dominant tasks of the selection process thus far is lying or selling. Just look at the ads. Although not the strongest reference, in a recent TV ad, President Obama accused Mitt Romney of taking away jobs in America by “outsourcing” jobs to foreign countries during the time Romney was in control of Bain Capital.

Hal sent the following e-mail to Romney’s political campaign: “Outsourcing is not done to create jobs overseas instead of in America. It is a method commonly used to reduce costs, thereby simultaneously maintaining profitability and reducing the required selling price of products and services. An end result is more affordability of products and services to the consumer.” He received a “thank you” e-mail on July 17, 2012 from Lynne McMillan, Deputy Director of External Affairs of Romney for President, Inc.

It seems the majority of citizens and organizations in the U.S. consider only their immediate personal needs and wants. That’s natural. And politicians emphasize them. But consistently failing to identify and take into account the broader picture into which those needs and wants fall, opens the door for collapse of supposedly realistic expectations.

The new, better and ultimately the only workable approach is to start out with the broader picture—the concept. Like “liberty and justice for all.” If the Civil Rights Office fails to do its duty for even a single citizen, then the related underlying flaw of the organization must immediately be identified and corrected. If it is not or cannot be done, then “liberty and justice for all” is merely an unfounded term of reference.

A person so denied such components of liberty and freedom should not be forced into a hopeless struggle seeking alternate means for the attainment of justice. What caused the break needs to be fixed. And it applies to every branch and subdivision of our government.

Things need to get put in writing that say what needs to be done, and in way that is clear and comprehensible. It should immediately create on the part of its readers, a willingness and desire to cooperate in support of taking reasonable action.

The center of attention is not change but restoration! We don’t’ want to change how things are. Such a process can go on forever without making a material difference. We need to bring things back to how they should be. It is not a mere change. It is a transformation!

A practical way to start out is to identify, communicate and gain support for some of the important concepts or new pillars. The Palm Beach County Tea party is doing just that. Its stated goals are “fiscal responsibility, limited government and free markets.” They are vital tactics in aid of re-establishment of true democracy in America.

For purposes of greater clarity and the attainment of broader support, better it may be for the Tea Party to put forth as its main objective, “The Re-establishment of True Democracy in Accordance with the Constitution,” and position its currently stated excellent goals as components thereof. An added valuable benefit is access to a larger selection of timely actions in accordance with its main objective, which actions otherwise may not appear in conformity with the presently stated goals.

Pictures from Independence Day Meet-ups

We had three exciting Independence Day Meet-ups on July 4th.  As you can see from the attached pictures, they were huge successes!  Our members were cordial and caused no problems, as usual.  Just clean, organized fun and festivity for all.  Plus, we bought food at the food courts and shopped in the malls afterward!  

Unfortunately, we were told by the Town Center Mall in Boca Raton and the Gardens Mall in Palm Beach Gardens that we are now on a list and no longer welcome!  Please post your thoughts on this posting!

Action Alert! Parental Rights and the United Nations CRPD Treaty

Here is an important alert sent to us by our sister tea party organization in Jacksonville, Bear Witness.  Please read and post your comments!

ALERT Parental Rights and the United Nations CRPD Treaty Sen. John Kerry: “We’ll Pass the CRPD by July 26!” Senator John Kerry announced yesterday that he plans to pass the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities before July 26—just 13 days from today. He has scheduled a formal committee vote next Thursday—July 19. This is an unprecedented attempt to jam a binding international treaty through the Senate without proper time for debate or consideration. Yesterday’s “hearing” was a carefully-orchestrated attempt to get this treaty ratified without any serious consideration. There were nine total witnesses. Only two people opposed to the treaty were allowed to testify—Steven Groves from Heritage Foundation and me [Michael Farris, Parental Rights ]. The Administration seeks to promote two ideas that are simply inaccurate: 1. Disabled Americans who travel overseas will directly benefit by U.S. ratification of this treaty; 2. Ratifying a treaty does not require us to comply with international law. They are arguing that a treaty is an empty promise with no actual substance. The Supremacy Clause of the Constitution makes it clear that the Administration is wrong. Treaties form a part of the Supreme Law of the Land once ratified. And no one even attempted a serious answer to our core parental rights concern. Article 7 of the UNCRPD gives government the ability to override every decision of a parent of disabled children if the government thinks that its views are in “the best interest of the child.” This is a radical attempt to take away parental rights. Make no mistake—if they succeed at ratifying this treaty, the Convention on the Rights of the Child is next. This is not a battle just for parents with disabled and special needs children. This is a battle for every parent. We absolutelymust flood the US Senate with phone calls. Senator Durbin mentioned that they were hearing from homeschoolers (and he was annoyed at us for voicing our opinion of his side’s planned assault on parental rights). But, we need to do even more. This is the most important issue that we will face this year. By July 26—up or down—we will either take another step toward becoming the subjects of a world government OR we will preserve our rights as American citizens. I urge you all in the strongest possible terms—CALL BOTH OF YOUR U.S. Senators today. This is Your Wake Up Call!

Today is a very sad day.  I am sitting here in Washington, DC with about 50 fellow patriots.  All of us were checked out of our hotel room by 6 am this morning and standing on the steps of the Supreme Court by 6:30am.  We said the pledge of allegiance, sang patriotic songs, chanted things like “See that flag a flying hi makes me proud as I pass by  “, and silently prayed that the announcement that the Supreme Court would declare the Affordable Care Act (ACA) unconstitutional.  As you know, that did not happen and the worst case scenario unfolded.  The Supreme Court upheld  ACA or “ObamaCare” as it is affectionately called by both sides.

Should we, the tea party, consider this a win for the opposition and a loss for us.  Yes, it was a win for them but we should also consider this a wakeup call for America and especially for the tea party!  We have an opportunity now to energize the masses.  The Supreme Court declared ObamaCare a tax — a tax for all people, poor, middle income, and rich alike!  The administration orchestrated a President Franklin D. Roosevelt-like bait and switch.  President Roosevelt first sold social security to the masses as benefit, not a tax; then when challenged by the Supreme Court, he declared it a tax . . . and won!  This is exactly what happened today!

Everyone is asking what does this mean?  The news reporters asked where is the tea party going from here?  Does this signal an end to the tea party?  Very quickly the leftists surrounded us and declared that the tea party “does not care about people needing health care.”  This could not be further than the truth!

Tea party groups across the country are focused on quality health care for any person, irrespective of their income situation and if they want it.  Tea partiers believe that we must repeal the ACA in full and replace it with effective free-market based solutions.

Simply stated, the tea party stances are reflective of the majority of the American people.  Per a June poll by NYT/CBS, 68% of the American voters want all or part of ObamaCare repealed.  Per a YG Network June poll, 92% say they are already satisfied with their healthcare (pre ObamaCare) and 90% say that their health care costs have gone up or stayed the same since ObamaCare passed.  Per a June 13th Rasmussen poll, those who strongly favor repeal is almost double those that strongly oppose repeal.

So what does this mean for the tea party?  It means that we energize America against this very pervasive tax that will effect everyone.  We fight to repeal ACA with a newly minted handle:  “Repeal the ObamaCare Tax!”

We need to focus on the costs, on its impact on our economy, the inevitable reduction in the quality of health care in this country, the rationing power of Medicare imbedded in the law, the Medicare payment cuts imbedded int he law, and the overall higher health care costs for every person and every company that must now provide healthcare benefits for their employees.  We cannot give up!  America’s future depends on our effort!

We are on the steep, slippery slope to socialized medicine!  We need to make today a turning point — the first day of our renewed effort to repeal the ObamaCare tax!

Independence Day Meetups in Boca Raton, Palm Beach Gardens, and Wellington Malls

This is a difficult time politically for all of us.  Many of us are discouraged. . . but July 4th is the day that we should all celebrate our liberties and share that awareness with others!  On Independence Day, Wednesday, July 4th, meet up with like-minded people between 10:30 am and 11:30 for java and fellowship at the mall nearest you. We will be meeting in the food courts at these three malls:

Help Save Wisconsin and Save our Country!

On June 5th, the citizens of Wisconsin will vote in a recall election to decide the fate of their fiscally responsible Governor and Lieutenant Governor. In the past the handful of recalls in America’s history were due to illegal actions on the part of elected officials.  In this case, the Progressives created this recall to punish these elected officials for keeping their campaign promises to get the state’s spending problem under control. It is not as if these elected officials have not done a good job  in their first year.  Wisconsin now has a budget surplus instead of being on the brink of bankruptcy.  Teachers are being hired instead of laid off!

The recall situation in Wisconsin is critical to the rest of the nation. This is a direct attack on our core value of fiscal responsibility, as well as on the very Representative Democracy that has propelled America to the heights of freedom! If the Left is successful in causing havoc in Wisconsin, they will spread their abuse of our system to the rest of the country.

Simply stated, progressives are waging an ugly war on fiscal responsibility and our election processes. And if they succeed, they will move on to other states including Florida, Arizona, Ohio, and many more. No state or elected official will be immune.   We must defeat them now before they spread their war around America!

Tea party members from across the USA are traveling to Wisconsin with the sole purpose of preserving the integrity of our election processes in the United States.  Union members are traveling the same direction but for the opposite purpose!  Tea partiers who cannot travel are making calls from their homes.  Everyone is working to win this battle!  Click here if you want to fight this battle with us!

Saul Alinsky, (the Communist organizer who taught Hillary Clinton [in person] and via his book, Rules for Radicals inspired numerous “community organizers” such as Barack Obama) taught his followers never to accept defeat and never to consider a political contest over until it is won by “progressives”, that is the Left. According to them, conservatives can never be allowed to win. If we concede to such tactics, the American experiment in self-government is over!

The Palm Beach County Tea Party is affiliated with the national group, Tea Party Patriots.  The Tea Party Patriots are refusing to sit on the sidelines as the Left attacks the very nature of our Representative Democracy by:

• Shutting down the state of Wisconsin

• Preventing its people from finding real solutions to real problems

• Abusing the law in order to force their undemocratic will on the majority

Appearing on C-SPAN’s “Newsmakers” show, AFL-CIO Head and Washington Insider Richard Trumka trumpeted the real purpose of the recall effort, which is to threaten and intimidate elected officials who might be considering reasonable efforts to deal with unfunded state pension liabilities and other fiscal problems resulting from an out-of-control public sector: “Would you like to take this fight on?” “A year after you were in office, would you like to be in the fight of your life, spending $25-30 million to hold onto a seat that you were supposed to have for four years . . . would that embolden you? Not if you’re sane and rational it wouldn’t.”

Wisconsin could be the key to determining how the rest of this year plays out. If the Left is successful in Wisconsin, they will no doubt use their success as a model to spread havoc in other places around the country. We must stand with Wisconsin because if we Save Wisconsin, we can Save the Country!

To this end, Tea Party Patriots is engaging in a strategic ground game initiative to bring reinforcements to assist the Wisconsin activists who have been working tirelessly to protect our core values. In whatever way you are able to help, know that you are bringing hope to those tired Wisconsin patriots, fighting the good fight to save our Representative system of government. You can help by making phone calls from your home, going to Wisconsin to canvass key neighborhoods, or by donating ito the effort.

The tea party movement needs your help in our campaign to put a stop to the recalls once and for all. We are calling it, “Save Wisconsin, Save the Country!”.
