The Boca Raton Chapter looks forward to it’s next monthly Dinner/Speaker Event on April 3rd. We are proud to present US Senate Candidate Ron McNeil, who was also at our Candidate Forum in Wellington this past November.
Ron’s biography:
Ron McNeil, a Florida businessman and a native of the Panhandle, has been a solution-oriented person all his life. His business career started in his home town at the age of 16, chopping firewood for the elderly and delivering a whole truckload for $4. From there, Ron has been granted over 97 patents in the United States and around the world solving problems, mainly in the environmental field, for cities and counties.
His products are in use all over the United States saving taxpayers millions of dollars by reducing the cost and upkeep of vital infrastructure. Ron believes that releasing free enterprise from over-taxation and over-regulation will enable American ingenuity to solve the mounting problems facing our nation.
Ron received the endorsement of President Ronald Reagan in his 1982 bid for Congress in Florida’s 2nd District. A terrible year for Republicans nationwide and a district that barely had 10% of voters being registered Republicans, Ron exploded capturing over 40% of the vote against the district’s long term incumbent. After the election, Ron was called to Washington and met in the White House with President Reagan and discussed the challenges facing America in those unsure economic times.
When not working on his business, Ron likes to spend time on his ranch, riding his horses, and enjoying every moment with his family.

Meet the Wellington Council Candidates
Marielena Stuart In Boca Raton
Despite rather blustery weather with high winds punctuating the start of another night of patriotism from the Palm Beach County Tea Party, we had a great turnout at Boca Greens Country Club on March 6th, for the Boca Chapter’s Monthly Dinner/Speaker. Gracing our podium tonight was Marielena Stuart, a candidate for US Senate from the State of Florida. Her unique perspective as a world traveler, and her upbringing in Cuba and enduring the oppression of Castro, gives her words a LOT of extra emphasis and passion. It was certainly not lost on the 130 people attending, who gave her a standing ovation.
Once again, the food selection at Boca Greens was outstanding, and they even had an “ice cream bar” with someone scooping out portions of ice cream that people could put toppings on themselves. We had no fewer than SIX local restaurants in the Boca area provide us with gift certificates to auction off for our silent auction, which was very successful, just as it was in February. Mel Grossman made the trip from Jupiter to be with us, as did Terry Brady.
Boca Chapter Coordinator Alex Berry began the proceedings at 7:00pm with the Pledge of Allegiance. Carlos Manuel Santana then regaled us with his impassioned version of the National Anthem. After the usual protocol of explaining what the PBCTP is, and what it stands for, Alex made general announcements, and then asked Mel Grossman to come to the podium. Mel had some up-to-date tidbits from newspaper clippings that concern us all. Terry Brady then succeeded him at the podium to go over fundraising, as well as to announce our Tax Day Tea Party Rally in Wellington in April. He announced that Dick Morris has agreed to be the lead speaker. Joe Madej then spoke to us, as he did last month, to explain how our organization will be organizing our poll watching efforts, as well as our Get Out The Vote campaign. Sign-up sheets were on all the tables for that effort.
We had a great turnout from local candidates- Mike Lameyer (FL Senate District 25), Joe Tally (County Sheriff), James Ryan O’Hara (FL House of Representatives), and Anne Trujillo (US House of Representatives) were among the evenings’ attendees, all of whom got a moment to introduce themselves, and what they stood for, before the main speaker was introduced.
Alex then introduced Marielena Stuart, who was accompanied by her family, who all campaign together. Marielena’s perspective on encroaching socialism in our society is perhaps as cogent and strong as anyone in the country. With her background under the Castro regime, watching her relatives face becoming political prisoners, and even DEATH, due to being outspoken regarding Castro’s rise to power, one can tell without any explanation that Marielena MEANS what she says. There was an element to her speech of true human emotion and authenticity that simply cannot be faked—her sincerity was palpable, transcending mere politics. Her positions on nearly all the issues that face us today are as true to the Constitution as anyone who has spoken at one of our events. One can see how much of a threat she represents to the Establishment in politics, since she is not shy about how she would reduce power within the Federal Government, should she be elected.
Marielena then took questions from the crowd, even though we were running later than normal. She and her family were the last people to leave the building, staying and chatting with EVERYONE who wanted an audience with her. If this is not an “approachable” candidate, I don’t know who is.
Several happy raffle prize winners won fine dining experiences throughout Boca, as well as some great Palm Beach County Tea Party Polo Shirts. It was truly an excellent evening—Mrs. Stuart’s message ought to be heard nationwide, not just in a small group dinner setting in Boca. For those of you who missed it, I can only say you missed an exceptional night of involvement in the political process, and irreplaceable fellowship with like-minded folk from all over the county!!!
We look forward to more great meetings in 2012 for our Boca Chapter—please INVITE YOUR FRIENDS to our next event, which will be on April 3rd, 2012!!! Remember—we always have our Boca Chapter Dinner/Speaker event on the FIRST TUESDAY of every month, so mark your calendars! We now have SIX months to make a difference for the next election, so please get involved if you aren’t yet, and STAY involved if you already are!

Marielena Stuart Anchors the March Jupiter Chapter
“I will take no prisoners – and neither should you.”
With that call to action, Senate candidate Marielena Stuart called on all of us to join the fight against socialism in this country. “It is the eleventh hour in this country, and about to strike midnight”. Having grown up in Cuba, with a father and uncle who fought Castro and were jailed as political prisoners, she knows socialism when she sees it, as the first phase of communism.
In a wide ranging talk that touched on both domestic and foreign policy issues, she drew attention to things that need to be part of the national conversation but have been avoided by the mainstream media and the national candidates:
- Sustainable development (which she associates with international socialism), driven by the UN Agenda 21, is a direct assault on our liberty.
- The Palestinian Authority is not just radical Islamist, it is also Marxist.
- Islamic law and politics are incompatible with our constitution and must be rejected in the US.
- The Department of Education must be cleared out and disinfected – you don’t want these people polluting your children’s minds.
- We must dismantle those federal departments that are obstacles to private sector growth, starting with the worst – the EPA.
It was a red meat speech and right on the money. We were left feeling that if Marielena Stuart is elected to the Senate, the place will never be the same again. Truly a candidate for the times.
In other business, we heard from Mel Grossman on upcoming events including the Tax Day Tea Party in Wellington, Terry Brady on fundraising, Iris Scheibl on the coming forum on How Municipal Elections affect our lives, and Barbara Samuels about the National Rally for Religious Freedom on March 23.
Local candidates for office that were introduced (in addition to Marielena Stuart) were Mike Lameyer (Florida Senate 29), Mary Lynn Magar and Calvin Turnquist (Florida House 82), Joe Talley (County Sheriff), Laura Hanley (County Commission District 1) and Lowell Levine (School Board district 1).

February meeting in Wellington recap
Pam Wohlschlegel, Leader of the Tea Party Patriots in this area, shared some of her activities including traveling around Florida with Jenny Beth Martin, national Tea Party Patriot leader, visiting other Tea Party Patriots. Pam commented that the Patriots are like sleeping tigers ready to re-emerge and assume a much more active role as they did four years ago. We were reminded to keep the focus on our three principles: fiscal responsibility, constitutionality, and free markets. There are a number of tea parties in our country; unlike some others, the Patriots do not endorse candidates. Pam noted that the Hispanic vote, a major block, is being indoctrinated by the left. What is it we can do to counter their influence? Progressives are using the approach of having home meetings. We need to do the same.
On March 22, a rally will be held on the Supreme Court lawn in D.C. Florida needs to be there! Busses will be leaving on February 21, for Tallahassee in preparation for a meeting with our legislators. Pam emphasized the need for poll watchers. Irregularities apparently occur when members of our group are not present.
Sharon Bock, Comptroller and Clerk, was the main speaker for the evening. An attorney, Sharon has been in her elected position for 14 years. She employs 750 individuals, none of whom make policy. All county funds, amounting to well over a billion dollars, must go through Ms. Bock’s office in order to be spent. She is an auditor and a watchdog who signs all checks. Before checks are signed three criteria must be satisfied: is there a public good involved, is the expenditure legal, and is it in the budget? Ms. Bock’s speech was an impassioned one in which she gave many examples of how she functions and how she is constantly confronted with obstacles. Her talk was very educational since many of us were not aware of how the individual in this position operates nor how important her position is to the well being of Palm Beach County.

Bio for Marielena Stuart
Marielena Stuart is a conservative Republican candidate for the United States Senate 2012 (FL).
Marielena was born and raised in Cuba, where she and her family suffered greatly for opposing Castro’s murderous Communist regime. Her father and uncles knew full well that Castro was a Marxist well before he took over Cuba, and they began to fight against Castro and his rebels as soon as they launched their terrorist activities in the 1950’s. Her father and uncles were imprisoned by Castro’s forces shortly after Castro took over on January 1, 1959. Her uncle became one of the longest-held political prisoners in the Western Hemisphere. Other members of her family were executed and killed fighting Castro’s Communist forces.
From 2010-2011 Marielena Stuart was immensely influential in helping defeat the establishment of an anti-life genetic facility in Southwest Florida– a project seeking millions of taxpayer dollars– which was backed by powerful land developers and government bureaucrats. Marielena Stuart’s courageous fight helped save Florida tax payers hundreds of millions of dollars. Her success in this grass-roots battle reflects Marielena’s determination to give Florida citizens the right to be heard in the public square – citizens who have long been silenced by Socialist backroom deals and bail-outs.
Marielena has been fighting against Sustainable Development in Southwest Florida since 2008. Her experience living under Communism has equipped her with the necessary knowledge and determination to fight against the United Nation’s Agenda 21 Sustainable Development– which has infiltrated our schools, local, county and state governments.
Marielena Stuart is a patriotic American who knows full well that Socialism is destroying our nation. She also knows that Sharia law has infiltrated America and our commerce– through powerful Islamic political influence.
Marielena is a popular and outspoken conservative columnist, covering military and foreign affairs– as well as other issues affecting our nation. Many of her articles can be read at RenewAmerica.com. Marielena speaks French and Spanish, and is an experienced international conference and legal interpreter. She has a world view of America– as the greatest nation on Earth.
