Did the Media Ignore Obama’s Dissing Queen Elizabeth?
The Queen just celebrated her Diamond jubilee on the throne.
That is the kind of foreign ceremony to which the United States would typically send the Vice President to represent us.
But neither the President nor Vice President went to London.
What is the message?
I’m not surprised. I have never heard a sitting President openly insult a former President to his face in front of the public like President Obama did to President Bush at the portrait ceremony, either. President Bush was his usual gracious self and used humor as his response.
