2011-2012 Leaders

Alex Berry
Co-Founder, Coordinator, Boca Raton Chapter
Currently the president of his own television program marketing company, Alex has been a full-time resident of Florida since 1981. He received his BA in Advertising from University of Florida’s College of Journalism and Communications in 1988. Though always conservative in ideology, Alex did not become a political activist until he saw the “handwriting on the wall” in early 2008. Since then, he has marched on Washington DC twice, and has been at the major Tax Day Tea Party rallies for the past consecutive three years. Having grown up in his teenage years in Washington DC as the son of a political cartoonist who wrote the “Berry’s World” cartoon strip from 1962-2003, Alex is no stranger to having his finger on the pulse of political machinations. When not trying to restore America to it’s rightful and distinct place as the beacon of liberty and freedom, Alex enjoys tennis, photography, and great food– and being a husband and father to his wife and three wonderful kids.

Gary now works for a property management company in Juno Beach, FL. Outside of Tea Party activities, their interests include spending time with their seven grandchildren, cycling, kayaking, golf and their two yellow labs, Ellie and Sunny.

Pam Wohlschlegel
Co-Founder, Chairman and County Coordinator
Starting out with a BSEE and an MBA, Pam spent most of her career in product and project management in the high tech corporate world. She retired in 2006 and moved to Florida where she uses her time and talents to serve in ministries in her church, serve as a leader in the tea party movement, and play tennis. Considering herself fiscally conservative and socially moderate, Pam’s interest in government began as a TAR (Teen Age Republican). Since that time, she has had little to do with the political scene outside of passing out flyers for some candidates that sparked her interest. However, in December 2009 she went to her first tea party event and has been passionate about the potential for the tea party movement ever since.
